The much-hyped Nothing tech company is reported to be bringing out its Phone 3 later in 2024, and here's a glimpse at what it might look like. A multi-national company with its headquarters in London UK, Nothing was set up in 2020 with an aim to "remove barriers between people and technology to create a seamless digital future." One of the co-founders is Carl Pei, who co-founded Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus in 2013. Nothing launched its first phone in 2021, creating buzz as a real competitor to the iPhone suite: its Android compatibility, transparent design and stripped-down functionality reflected the need for a fresh approach in a saturated market where users await iterations of a theme. Nothing promised a single device launch per year. It has recently launched an Apparel arm, sparking both 'jack of all trades, master of none' and 'true spirit of innovation' responses. Though it doesn't go as far as Dutch electronics manufacturer Fairphone in its ethical and environmental endeavours, the Nothing phone family does boast 100% recycled aluminium and at least 50% recycled or bio-sourced plastics in its manufacturing. How does the Nothing Phone 3 look to you? Not enough information in the ad, or perfect alignment with the minimalist vibe?
