Global documentary specialist Dogwoof presents the UK trailer for 'NAZA', a British investigative documentary which revolves around "interviews with 24 Israeli solders involved in the remote mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza". Produced in collaboration with The Guardian - whose website will carry it for free viewing as of late November - and JW Films, the documentary was made by Israeli investigative journalist Yuval Abraham, and Israeli cinematographer Rachel Szor, two of the 2024 Oscar-winning directors of 'No Other Land'. 'NAZA' examines "the artificial intelligence systems, automated surveillance, and algorithms used by the Israeli military to target and approve attacks that have resulted in massive civilian casualties in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023" (Google AI). Also according to Google AI: "Following the impact of the film, the government of Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israeli authorities have harshly criticised the directors, with threats to revoke their citizenship and calls to investigate the participants for information security".
