Prostate, penile and testicular cancer are no joke, yet Peru's Museo Larco has come up with an eye-catching initiative that manages to bring a light touch to the business of men checking their private parts for warning signs of cancer. In the ground-breaking campaign, the museum is allowing its visitors to handle 1,500-year-old artefacts representing male genitalia under the banner: "touch your ancestors' balls". What do you think of the approach linking the 'forbidden to touch' nature of the museum piecs with men's general reluctance to check themselves? The campaign aims to educate men in particular about the importance of regular checks to prevent cases: more than 10 thousand cases of prostate, testicular and penile cancer were reported to have been detected in Peru over the last year.
