LOEWE x Tim Burton = luxury crafted 'Nightmare Before Christmas'

For their new collection, Spain's luxury fashion and accessories brand LOEWE collaborates with celebrated US filmmaker, animator, writer, and visual artist to bring characters from 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' to fresh life. Those familiar with the 1993 stop-motion horror classic - which originated from a poem written by Tim Burton in 1982 while he was working as an animator at Walt Disney - will recognise Giant Snake in this whimsical 36-second campaign. 'In the film, a large, orange python-like snake with black stripes and a long snout is delivered by protagonist Jack Skellington (disguised as Santa Claus) as a Christmas gift. It swallows a Christmas tree and wreaks havoc in the human world'. Speaking of the creative collaboration, Burton told Vogue: “They took something that means a lot to me and they put their own spin on it. The way they make things, the textures and the elements involved are just beautiful. It’s exciting for me to see it happen".
