Owen Wilson, Salma Hayek explore 'Bliss'

A 2'45" trailer for Amazon Prime drama 'Bliss', starring US actor Owen Wilson ('You, Me & Dupree', 'Zoolander', 'Free Birds') and Mexican-American actress Salma Hayek ('Desperado', 'Frida', '30 Rock'). The movie described as a love story and father-daughter tale challenges our perception of reality as Wilson's character becomes involved with a homeless woman (Hayek) who claims his world is an alternative reality and everything in it - including his daughter - is false. "I wanted to tell a story about the fragility of the mind and the malleability of our perception," writer- director Mike Cahill explained. "I particularly wanted to make a film that treated different ways of seeing the world with compassion and empathy, as opposed to judgement. To me this is an important bridge of connection humans need and I felt like I had a way to dramatize this idea and make it fun, exciting, thrilling, all while retaining its emotional potency."
