If you're not already a subscriber to the ad-free entertainment service Netflix, might this tempt you to sign up? It's for a series called 'Our Planet' which is due for global release on April 5, 2019 and shows "the place we all call home". Made in conjunction with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), it is supported by the latest ground-breaking science, presenting many of the findings from WWF's recent Living Planet Report to showcase the Earth’s most pressing challenges—and inspire people worldwide to come together to protect Nature. Revered broadcaster and natural historian Sir David Attenborough narrates the series. Creator of the 'Blue Planet' environmental documentaries, Sir David told the rich and influential who gather annually for the World Economic Forum at Davos earlier in 2019 that 'the Garden of Eden is no more". Dutch historian Rutger Bregman, 30, also spoke at Davos for the first time, on a panel about inequality where he expressed bewilderment at the Forum, pointing out: "I mean 15,000 private jets have flown in here to hear Sir David Attenborough speak about, you know, how we're wrecking the planet."
