Humanoid robots: electric Atlas more limber than ever....

Depending on your mood when you see this, it could make you feel awed, excited, fearful or just plain inadequate. It came up on my screen alongside a yoga video - you'll understand why I included the word inadequate if you watch this 40-second demo of the latest iteration of humanoid robot Atlas.... To be fair, the yoga vid would probably have had a similar effect, but at least it wouldn't involve a 360-degree swivelling head. Yes, people, that's how limber Atlas is. Creator Boston Dynamics says: "We are unveiling the next generation of humanoid robots—a fully electric Atlas robot designed for real-world applications.
