Yup, that's right - actual houses that people can live in, made using a 3D printer that shapes the building elements with concrete. The Netherlands has been getting a name in Europe for being on the cutting edge of technology, and the Milestone commercial housing estate is right out there at the pointy end. The first of its type in the world, the five-house estate is an ad in itself for the southern city of Eindhoven, birthplace of the Philips N.V. technology multinational and home to the PSV football team. This 2'50" video shows the process, as well as the sustainability and innovation thinking behind it.
